INDIAS NEED TO FOCUS ON ENERGY SECURITY THROUGH

RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

My appeal to the scientific community across the country especially BARC scientists, elite institution like IITs and IIMans, and other individuals to  explore practically new ways and means for developing renewable energy, which is a clean, and sustainable energy sources. “Energy on Running Wheels” is such an attempt.  Can the corporate India show its readiness to encourage such a move?!  I believe the inspiring ‘quotaless’ meritorious and creative scientific community,  IITans and IIM students and  every individuals should convert their ‘creative and meritorious energy’ to Clean, sustainable and renewable unexplored energy sources. Let India innovates with intelligence by intellectuals. Ideal creates ideas.

Hope India Inc. and Govt. of India make a proactive role in the days to come. India won’t be an energy dependent country any more.  The steady rise of crude oil prices at International market and the crumpling effect of India’s economy again and again put us to think a new energy policy at national level.   India energy dependency should not, only limited to, oil and gas.  India need energy revolution for the next 5 years. India’s constant dependant on other countries is disastrous.  Energy security is an engine of growth in our economy.  If we fail to address this issue on a war footing basis, our overall growth will be affected.  Just putting restriction on energy use is not an answer. We need to create inexpensive, affordable and sustainable energy by developing new technology. 

Ignorance and lack of political leadership put us in a tight spot. We need a political will to move ahead in moulding our policies and programmes in various areas with timely completion. That need a great political will. India need to put an end to ‘oil democracy’.  For long term India’s sustenance, India need ‘oil-less and greaseless’ democracy for her long term sustenance. Every time, govt. increase prices of petrol, diesel and gas, they blame rise prices of crude oil at International market.  People are put more and more burden in the name of international oil prices. We need to teach a lesson to international oil producing countries  by not taking their oil by exploring and developing renewable energy sources.  We enjoy real freedom of democracy by making an energy independent of the common people at a smallest level. 

In this area, our country’s elite institution like IITs and IIMans, BARC scientist  and all other scientific community need to take a bigger initiative both theoretically and practically explore new ways and means for developing renewable energy, which is a clean and sustainable energy for its future. The worrying fact is that the most powerful petroleum lobby, within India and outside allow us to develop and make use widely such a technology in future.    How the India Inc. going to respond for such a move. Are they going to make any ‘blockade’.   I believe the inspiring IITans and IIM students should convert their ‘creative and meritorious energy’ to Clean, sustainable and renewable unexplored energy sources. We need to create inexpensive, affordable and sustainable and renewable energy source and need to develop technology that can benefit end user directly.

That kind of invention is need. 

Just conducting nuclear test or increasing police atrocities against its people not going to make our country stronger and independent.  Again, let the govt. allow to flow the knowledge and energy together.

We are talking about IT. But where is the energy come from. We need an invention to run a computer  based on solar energy with powerful tiny solar chips.  Then only IT going to take it to the rural masses.  Need a new debate on energy sector.

Govt. of India and corporate sector very urgently need to invest in research and development such technologies in the next 5 years.  India should make its ‘firm’ target  for next 5 years in the overall energy field especially on renewable energy which is clean and eco friendly. If we need technological revolution, we need a major revolution in energy sector.  IT revolution never ever possible without energy.  So let us focus first on energy. In a queued, short supplied, quota democracy, let us hope that the UPA will not push us into a ‘failed state’ tag at least in energy sector. We are waiting for our ‘powered’ vision fulfill ‘energized’ mission in the days to come.
