One of the major reason most of the democracies facing in the world is continuous rising price of oil.  The major reason is that the OPEC nations are controlling major production and supply across the globe. The ever rising mass consumption for petro products and lack of invention on alternate renewable energy make the world most vulnerable to most of the oil importing nations. 

The time has come to end the OPEC nations monopoly.  The UN body and Super power nations should actively take up this issue and need urgent intervention in the interest of democracy around the world.  The OPEC nation is fully responsible for regional instability and US action against such nation is fully justified considering the never ending high cost of oil price. This oil producing nation is fully responsible for the ill-effect happening to them.

The scientific community and the developed nations need to spend much on R&D for clean renewable energy sources like Hydrogen based fuel, solar energy, wind energy, wave energy, hydro electric and such renewable energy sources. 

The time has come to depend on OPEC nation on their Oil resources.  The OPEC natioin threaten the economy around the world of global democracies. The world Bank and other funding agencies should be directed to encourage in Rapid Mass transport system in Metros and other cities and discourage automobile productions around the world.  The American democracy also need a serious look on improving the simple mass transport system and need to discourage owing the cars and other automobiles.  I fear the OPEC nation will push us into a 3rd world war due to their unending greed and creating a permanent monopoly and instability.  It is worst than terriorists activities and arms race around the world.  The World Bank and American Policy Think tank need a review on this issue and need to create an actionable intelligence and thorough debate by the global media.

Instability of energy prices around the world always push all the democracies into instability and every democracy facing crisis and I think the OPEC is the main contributor.  The Flood gate of oil money and its penetration and its impact around the world also need to looked into. There is not much difference like drugs, arms and counterfeits and global govt. need a serious look.
