Networking With NGOs

The State Commission has organized meetings with different NGOs in Mumbai and various districts of Maharashtra regarding following issues:

  • Problems faced by NGOs while handling marital dispute cases.
  • Functioning of family courts.
  • Interaction with police stations.
  • Implementation of various women and child development schemes.
  • Suggestions and recommendations.
The Commission is now exploring active networking with NGOs, by
  1. Registering NGOs working for women's development in various areas of Maharashtra.
  2. Commission is having a newsletter 'Thingi~ The Spark' to have networking with NGOs.
