Water Privatisation's effects

I reckon it is gonna be worse, if water service is privatized. (from
the frying pan into the fire).

The poor will get poorer and suffer more for lack of water supply to
their areas, while the rich will be ready to pay more to get more
water, immaterial whether the rich need that much water or not.

Isn't the Water Tanker system around the western suburbs a mafia
work. I mean, from where do these water tankers get water (obviously
from the Municipality resources). If water is available for tanker
suppliers, then why not supply the same thru' regulated pipelines
and reduce the sufferings of the people there. Is the infrastructure
not in place, even after so many years of development in the western
suburbs ?

The Municipality should hold a stake in this too, so that Private
companies do not hijack the service.

Municipality should draw a line that, water will be supplied at a
reasonable & same rate all over.

1)No private company should be allowed to charge as they want
2)They should ensure that water is supplied regularly as per time
table they draw.
3) We don't need 24 hrs. of water supply. Split the timing, so that
it suits everyone and everyone saves water.
4) Municipality should Monitor the services of the private companies
and should be fined for any violations, with warning.
4) Finally, Citizens learn to save water, use water thoughtfully.
