I had one barclays card # 4339 ........ I never used this card for purchase purpose. I was offered a travel related polic telephonically by one of barclays sales girl. i got phone call 3-4 times as I was not able to udnerstand fully at that time as I used to be in office. anyway it seemed OK and I gave my acceptance to the same, however I still rememer I told them to send me the documents so that I can be able to understand that well. It was also informed to me by these people that once I pay the charges, I will be given a gift bag also. within next couple of day, I received the statement as well as the policy related papers. I approached the bank within next couple of days and requesed them to cancell/ reverse the policy as I am not interested. this is going on since last 3-4 months and still the needful is not done from their end and they are increasing the amount every month. in between I wrote 2 letters with registered AD to barclays, however their final reply is that I am liable to pay as I have accepted the gift. please note, their people/documents clearly says that the gift will be sent once payment is received. it was delivered at my residence through courier. Sir, i am continously getting phone calls/sms from barclays and it seems people there are only interested in getting the money extorted by any means. some people have even told me that my name is updated to CIBIL and I will not get any loans from any bank in future. one madam even threatened me that I had said YES once and now I am liable to pay. Sir my YES of one time is of no means to them against more than 50 NO. they are reminding me of SAHUKAARS. I am really very very depressed and mentally upset due to the ever increasing demand and daily phones. infact on the saying of one person of barclays i even paid Rs 470/- that the policy will be reversed but still no result. Honestly I require your help in this instance as the whole incidence is depressing me a lot for no fault of mine. thanks

try to educate people to understand customer and act accordingly.

never listen to sales people over phone if you are not able to concentrate and be professional.
