Findstone.com - Marlet Place for Building Stones
This is regarding CSR by corporates.

1.Assessment of CSR should be on the basis of whether the Company is known to be open for access to NGOs other than their local NGOs or those connected with their officers.
2. Whether there is someone in the company just to receive calls/applications from NGOs and interact with the applicants;
3. Whether the Company has taken the initiative to visit some of the NGOs listed by reputed organisations.
4. Does the Company expand its reach to new NGOs periodically?
5. Is the Company interested in the real long term objectives of the NGOs assisted  and how far does it help in NGOs sustainability.

I have used Karmayog list of  some Companies in Pune and Mumbai and can say that unless there is a godfather  for you  in the Company, NGOs have as much  chance of CSR assistance as that of a flea`s subsistence  on the head of a statue. Regards
