1) Worked for over 7 years in the CSR space from 1995 to 2002 and my personal failure and that of the organisation I led, Partners in Change, was that we never managed to get people to recognise that CSR wasn't simply a new fangled term for Corporate Community Development. It was about how a company did its business so that it had a net positive impact on all its stakeholders, particularly the most disadvantaged. In other words, it wasn't only about what a company did with its profits (the community development side being one) but also how the profits were made in the first place.
Now that you are preparing a CSR resource section on you website, please cease the opportunity to get people to understand that there is a lot more to CSR!
