It is to inform you that one of the shop in Mazgaon area (Sunder Apt, Mazgaon Circle Mumbai-10), has built a cement concreate stuture around the tree, which stands opposite its shop, covering the upper base portion completly with cement and nails, this is done in such a way, that there is no way for water to follow within the plant, and naturally this is going to 'kill' that tree.
This type of coveringis usually done by the shop keepers,just to remove the 'nusiance' of tree in front of there shop, and this is completly done with the knowledge of BMC - that is what I presume - , other wise how one try to cover the place, which falls within BMC occupany.It is my humble request that BMC may take strident action against the people who are involved in such acts 'Killing the tree'.
