1. Comparative prices of medicines: A searchable database of medicines

marketed by top 300 odd companies of India - by brand or, by generic. (At

times even you may find it handy to refresh brand names and corresponding

prices).

2. Articles on various diseases: These are specially written for India, by

Indian medical writers, sitting in India. We would love to host your

articles for patient education. We will NOT charge you anything. On the

other hand it will give you nice exposure. Moreover, your contribution will

at the end of the day help distressed patients.

3. Directory service for finding doctors, hospitals, nursing homes and blood

banks: We are covering medical consultants in big cities. If possible, if

there is enough penetration of net we will go to upcountry areas, smaller

towns etc. Currently our focus is entirely NETIZENS. We have noticed that

they also are the people WITH MONEY and WITHOUT TIME. As per last published

data of 2005, India has 4 crores netizens. So, we have started with them.

Next step is to attack vernacular segments. That may bring us out of net

into offline directory services. We have a scope for our doctors to host

their profiles for just Rs.729 (Rs.2/- per day) adjacent to their basic

listings (which is free). The same model is also there for hospitals,

nursing homes etc.

Doctor, today patient comes to you mostly through word of mouth. But these

netizens are fast becoming very discerning patients. They have started

seeking information through net before taking action. This consumer

behaviour has opened up the business scope for us to give them information.

Such an information service will help you recruit new patients, reassure

your existing patients, and become reachable without being disturbed.
