Right to Education Task Force (RETF)

Dear Friend,

Right to Education Task Force (RETF), a unti of Social Jurist is working for the realization of every child's right to quality education. The volunteers of RETF are visiting MCD schools in Delhi and collecting information regarding infrastructure and quality of education in these schools. The information collected and a report prepared is then sent to the appropriate authorities for redressal measures.

We have volunteers working in Mahipalpur, Jahangirpuri, Hulambi Kalan and Bawana areas. More and more volunteers are needed to cover all the schools of Delhi and we invite all the concerned people who care for the Child's right to education.

Each volunteer will adopt one primary school in his/her area and keep in touch with the school authorities and parents of the children studying in the school for better infrastructure and quality of education through collecting information and passing it to RETF for further action with concenred authorities.

A capacity builing and experience sharing workshop is being organised in this regard, on March 4, 2006 at 2 pm at the following address:
