There is NGO Aishabai & Haji Abdul Latif Charitable Trust and South Bombay Public Charitable Trust, which has been allotted 5, 6 full fledged Municipal school buildings in Zone 1, where they are running their own schools on commercial basis. They are not doing any work for the BMC or BMC school children in these buildings but are purely having their own private commercial educational institutions. Any one who wants to make sure that this is information is true, can visit the following BMC school, which has been given fully to South Bombay Public Charitable Trust, where they are starting there own International School, Fazlani Global Academy, the address of the school is, Walpakhadi Municipal secondary and primary School, Manji Rathod Road, Walpakhadi, mazgan, Mumbai, The whole school building is being modified to meet the requirements of IB school, all this work is being done to run a school . Aishabai Trust, runs their educational college in J.J. municipal school building. Again it is a commercial Programme, not for the school children for whom the building is meant for. 1. Are the rules and regulations regarding allocating rooms and space different for different NGO's?? 2. Are the educational policies different for different Zones?? 3. Why are the private trusts being given municipal school buildings to run their private schools on commercial basis? 4. Who has given them such kind of permission?? Who has allotted them such huge premises?? How come one Organization can be allotted so many buildings to run their own programmes, and here those who want to do social work to help the society on no profit basis are being denied the place and being threatened to be thrown out?? The address of this NGO is: Mr Abdul Kader Nirmal Building, 21St Floor Nariman Point, Mumbai-400026.ph-022563966 We are the students of Bachelor in social work, been studying the work of various organizations and through our survey we found this, we don't want to come in open since still students, may affect our studies, but definitely would like to fight for justice. We have personally visited this school, and when asked them why are you breaking the whole school building, we were told that International school are requirements are like this that the whole building should be air conditioned and rooms should be have all the latest technology. When we visited the college being run by them, we projected ourselves as the students for admission, we were told come next year, this year’s admissions are over, and preference is given to the muslims, since its minority college. The fee is 35000. |
