 Water being directed to Azad Nagar 3 from Amboli

 Complaint

 We have approached our Local Corporator and the K Ward Officer, Mr. Shet. The water from the higher points are all diverted to Azad Nagar 3 from Ganesh Chawl to flow into the centre from Prabhuvandan into the lane leading to Milan. There is no drain from Milan or if one, is ineffective. In addition, Veera Desai Rd, being at a higher level, water from main road also flows into our sub lane. Our road thus becomes a collection point and within one hour of rain, our lanes & compound is flooded threatening to enter the flats.

 Your Suggestion for a Solution

 This congestion of water flow is a recent phenomenon in the past 2-3 years. As suggested to the Corporator and the Ward officer to divert water to Amboli and other areas. In the early week of June both the Corporator and the Ward Officer agreed to this. We would like to see results. In addition the drainage from Milan building leading to Safalya and to its right to Veera Desai needs to be looked into. This road is perpetually choked. Construction wastes are dumped on the road opp. Safalya leading to clogging of whatever little drainage is there. We were promised that a wall will be raised on the empty ground to prevent construction material from falling down into the drain. So far, nothing has happened.
