 Redevelopment problem faced by tenants.

 Complaint

 Bldg. No.48, Tilak Indrayani C.H.S. Ltd. is going to redevelop by the builder. Now the building is demolished on Jan. 2008. Tenants are asking more carpet area i.e. 45 sq.mtr. instead of the present 30 sq.mtr. as per the new MHADA policy (Please refer ToI article on Oct. 15, 2007). But builder is not ready and willing to give us despite enormous profit. Soci ety M.C. also siding with builder. Builder and society asking new G.R. on this issue. What is the clear decision of the Govt.? Whether we are eligible for getting more space as per the new policy? The foundation is not made till today. Agreement is made 19 months back.

 Your Suggestion for a Solution

 As per the ToI report dated Oct. 15, 2007, members insisted the M.C. and builder to take up the issue. They want to show the proof of Govt. Resolution passed. Members have only newspaper report in their hand. We exactly don't know what is the clear policy of govt. Wherever we approach the concerned authorities like BMC, MHADA, officials are telling that it is a wrong report. That is not happening? We are confused, what is the exact details. We want clear direction from State Government, BMC and MHADA at the earliest passed with necessary G.R. and other ordinance. Need to set up regulatory/ supervisory body with quasi judicial power to look after individual members complaint. The GR must be passed with prior date of 2 years. Please guide us in this matter.
