 Complaint

 Dear Sir/Madame, Some of the ground floor residents in my housing colony have enclosed common open space in front of the building with metal pipe fencing to create private gardens for themselves. We have been complaining repeatedly to the Ward Officer and the Engineer of D Ward to have the fencing removed. We agree that the trees that have been planted in the private gardens should not be chopped but the raised fencing should be removed. The D Ward issued notices to the concerned tenants in 2005 but the encroachments remain and no action has been taken. Reminders and RTI applications have not shown any results either.

 Your Suggestion for a Solution

 1. Follow up on the notices issued to remove the encroachment. 2. Remove only the fences, trees can be spared.
