Complaint |
Dear Sir/ Madame, Choked drainage of the chambers in Talmakiwadi Co-operative Housing Society is a chronic problem. The drainage from toilets and bathrooms is blocked, and lately, there are large air bubbles which suddenly come up in the commode, causing water from the commode to spill out, filling the toilet room with foul smelling air causing people to cough and gasp. Also, water collects near the drains, leading to breeding of mosquitos. We have brought this to the notice of the Managing Committee, but nothing is being done. As a doctor, I am worried as this is very unhygeinic and can lead to disease. Also, as the gases are suffocating, I am worried of senior citizens living alone in the homes and facing such gases. Even if they have difficulty breathing, there is nobody in the house to help.

Your Suggestion for a Solution
|
1.Immediate deployment of people equipped to clear the choked drains,
2.Repair of the chambers/ out going pipes if that is the problem
3.A regular check up and cleaning of the drainage in the colony. ( I am not an expert in this matter, so, do not know if this should be annual or 6 monthly) |
