Period of incident: 2008 - Jul 2. Services that were sought: I WANTED A HOME LOAN. 3. Problem/s I faced: WHEN I APPROACHED DIRECTLY TO THE BANK , I WAS SENT TO ONE OF THE DMA,S( GAUR CONSULTANTS, MR. AMRISH GAUR) . WHERE I WAS CHARGED 10% OF THE LOAN AMOUNT AS THE COMMISSION FOR GETTING A LOAN,AND I WAS TOLD BY MR. AMRISH GAUR THAT 8% WILL GO TO THE VP MR. C.S.PURI. 4. Bribe amount: 50 000 /- RS 5 a. Was the bribe paid? I DIDNOT PAY THE BRIBE BUT MR. AMRISH GAUR TOOK MY SIGNED CHEQUE FROM PNB STAFF AND TOOK THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT.HOW DID HE GET THIS SIGNED CHEQUE FROM THE BANK???? 5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how? IT WAS JUST NOT POSSIBLE. 6. Result: I WAS SENCTIONED A LOAN BUT 50,000 WERE MISSSING FROM IT. C: Additional Informtion attached Details of Content: Nil D: My Suggestions 1. For head of government department: Suggestion 1: IS IT LEAGAL THAT PNB HOUSING FINANCE DMA CHARGES UPTO 10% OF THE LOAN AMOUNT WHILE THEY GET THEIR COMMISSION FROM THE PNB ALSO??? NOT ONLY THIS CASE I CHECKED OTHER CASES ALSO WITH MR. AMRISH GAUR( GAUR CONSULTANTS ,DMA OF PNB HOUSING FINANCE IN DEHRADUN) ,HE IS CHARGING 5-10% OF THE LOAN AMOUNT FROM THE BORROWERS IN THE NAME OF PAYING THE VP MR. C.S.PURI, I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH IS PAID TO HIM. CAN WE ESTABLISH A SYSTEM WHERE BORROWER COMES IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE HIGHER AUHORITIES RATHER THAN DMAs. 2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): Suggestion 1: I EXPECT THAT MY MATTER WILL BE LOOKED INTO SERIOUSLY AND PEOPLE WILL GET BENEFITTED AND CAN AVAIL THE FACILITIES EXTENDED TOWARD THEM BY GOVT. 3.
