B: My Complaint Details
1. Period of incident: 2008 - Jun
2. Services that were sought: property subdivision
3. Problem/s I faced: Submitted all the required forms, but kept on postponing for more than 3-4 months. When enquired about delay, now he says the documents are not with him.
4. Bribe amount: Rs. 700
5 a. Was the bribe paid? Did not know that it was a bribe, thought that it was a charge needs to be paid for the government.
5 b. Could the work have been done without paying the bribe? If so, how?
6. Result: nothing. Still i have not received my documents from the village officer

D: My Suggestions
1. For head of government department:
Suggestion 1: Please put a help desk in such village/taluk/registrar offices and advice the people about the procedure to get things done.
Suggestion 2: public awareness about the process
Suggestion 3: attitudinal change of staff staffs should be given training on selfdevelopment
2. For the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI):
Suggestion 1: Please issue a circular/through news channels/news papers about bribing and serious action will be taken against those offcials
3. For other citizens:
Suggestion 1: Be aware of the the procedure to follow before going for any work at these kind of officials. Ask "WHY" when required. dont be quite for whatever they say.
