IITB School to host short film contest on RTI

 

Mumbai, September 06: The S J Mehta School of Management at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) will be hosting a short film contest on RTI as part of its annual international business festival — Avenues.07 to be held in October 2007.

 

The short film contest on ‘Better governance through Right To Information’ is being supported and sponsored by Creative Commons India and partnered by National Campaign for Peoples Right to Information (NCPRI). Creative Commons is a body, which campaigns for liberal copyright licensing.

 

Contestants are invited to make a short film up to 5 minutes in length in Hindi or English on preferably a true dramatization of ‘Better governance through Right To Information’.

The top five films will be given awards and would be screened at Avenues. Registration for the contests commenced on September 5 and entries must reach Prof Shishir Jha of S J Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay by September 15.
