Presently, there is no website of my organisation, Binty. Nor my own. However, one is under preparation and will inform you as soon as the same is ready.

Before joining the Consumer Protection Movement in India in 1983, when India was on the threshold of liberalising the economy, I was in the private sector and handled all sorts of business affairs - imports, exports, raw materials management, market/feasibility studies, office systems management, public relations, and what not. While in the Movement I have gone through various types of training e.g. lifting of food samples, application of consumer related laws, attended many workshops. Consumer Education in academics in India was initiated by me. So is the case with Consumer Clubs with entire scheme of mine. It was my initiative and campaign that the courts in India have started imposing penalties on the individual employees responsibility for putting the government department to loss/shame, and Lucknow Develop Authorities case in the Nineties where for the first time Supreme Court levied the penalty on the employees was the result of that campaign.
I am not a very articulate person, but am able to put across my point of view.
Academically, I have studied upto B.A. at Panjab University Evening College, Chandigarh, with economics and public administration as my main subjects. Though I did learn Urdu, Gurmukhi, Germany, Russian, Hindi and English but am Master of none. Foreign languages are just alien to me now because of lack of interaction.
I have definitely not given here the minor and early life details of my career.
Insofar as Consumer Protection is concerned, I hope to be able to cover many topics though the range is very very wide, because these largely depend upon trading and commerce principals besides the competition and regulations.
I am 71 years old, having gone under the knife for by-pass heart surgery and am okay now. I am a widower with two wonderful grown up and well settled sons, and a grand son, living away from me - because of convenience of commuting.
