I am presently national advisor on training and capacity development with national disaster management authority. I am presently responsible for conduc t of table top and mock exercises at national levelon various types of disasters like earthquake, tsunami, cyclones, floods, urban fires, chemical (industrial) disasters, terrorist attacks and bomb defussion, hijacking etc.
I am also a visiting faculty on disaster management with 29 universities and national level training institutions, like NPA, Hyderabad, LBSAA Mussoorie, War College, BSF Academy , Air Force Academy, IS Academy, Mt Abu, Delhi University, CBI Academy, NHAI Academy, NIDM, IIPA, IP University, Gorakhpur University, Meerut University, Rohtak University,Pune University, etc. I have conducted innumerable workshops, seminars and presented a number of papers on Disaster Management, Security, Border Management, Leadership etc.
I have written the book, "All you wanted to know about disasters", which is a prescribed book for MBA in IP University and more than 10,000 books have been sold. It is being revised by me as also a second volume is under writing. I have published innumberable papers at national and international professional magazines on disaster management, leadership, CSR, CBDM, border management and human behaviour.
I am one of the highest decorated soldiers of the Indian Army, have been awarded Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India , COAS Commendation Card by the Chief of the Army Staff, Commendation Card by the Eastern Army Commander and BSF Director General Commendation Card and numerous appreciation letters by foreign dignitaries and dignitaries in India.
As regards my educational qualifications, I am MSc. Ph.D, MBA, PGD in MM, Senior Defence Management and master trainer in conducting table and mock exercises (authenticated by Federal Emergency Management Authorty and National Institute of Disaster management).
