The students have made 35 idols, which will be displayed in the exhibition. Right from colouring to designing accessories, is done by these kids. For one idol to get ready it takes almost two hours,” says Jayanthi Ravindran, an instructor at the institution. Sudhir Kamble, one of the special students, said he just needs to visualise an image in his mind and then he can craft the image with clay. Jairam Tanawade, who loves to paint said, “I am trained in computers from NASEOH but my hobby is painting. I paint the idols made by my friends here with the help of my trainer.” Publication : DNA; Section : mumbai; Pg : 8; Date : 12/9/07 URL : http://digital.dnaindia.com/epapermain.aspx?edorsup=Main&queryed=9&querypage=8&boxid=30864964&parentid=47912&eddate=09/12/2007 |
