| What: A. Counselling parents from low income groups of Sector 3, 4, and 5, Kharghar on the importance of education in the lives of their children, and the change that education could bring.
B. Teaching underprivileged children in the learning centre
C. To Develop the Learning Centre into a Resource Centre
which can be used as a central library by Zilla Parishad Schools and Government Aided Schools.
D. Setting up of Library cum Activity Corners at Government Schools / Govt. Aided Schools
E. Sponsoring the children to enable them to attend formal school.

| Why: We teach children from low income communities of migrant labourers and Adivasis, who are 1 st generation learners. These are children who need to be self motivated enough to want to learn. By aiding in their learning process and making this process interesting, we want to ensure that the children complete school. By alowing them to question , think and grow, we want them to become confident individuals who can take informed decisions on their own. |

| Who: These are children whose parents are Migrant labourers or Adivasis living in Kharghar. |

| How: As we alreaday have a learning centre at Sec.5, Kharghar, we are working on finding space which will belong to the Trust. This space will thenbe used to run both the Resource Centre and Learning Centre.
Parents will be first actively conselled on the need to educate their children, following which more children will be taken into the learning centre. |
