Abstract
The program was started by Care, Orissa in the areas severely affected by cyclone. PYSO has taken up the responsibility of implementation of this project in the Kakatpur block of Orissa. The project started with distribution of paddy seeds and vegetable seeds to the beneficiaries. A community nursery program, aiming at maintenance of greenery in the area; self help groups for development of women; livestock intervention program are some other aspects of the project.

Through this program IGSSS and PYSO aim at agricultural development in the flood effected areas. Vegetable seeds to the women beneficiaries to create kitchen garden, training program for mushroom cultivation, health check-up camps are some of the activities being carried out under the project.
