To create awareness and aid in geml equity, social equality and empower women a deprived sections of society through participatory communication tools and techniques.

Flood-prone areas in North and Central Bihar.


include capacity building and local self-governance; has a resource and reference centre; strengthens the Panchayati Raj institution; arranges micro credit, micro enterprises; helps in strategic planning and technical services to field-level NGO sector committed to democratic values, gender equity, social equality; also provides training, research, documentation, resource support, networking, consultancy and policy advocacy. Conducts workshops and seminars to cope with earthquakes, floods and other natural calamities and on networking; Cooperative Development Foundation (Hyderabad) sponsored the workshop on Society Registration Act, on problems faced to get registered; RGVN sponsored a workshop on organisational development dealt with self-help groups; UNICEF sponsored a training programme on Kishori Panchayat for illiterate adolescent girls on Panchayati Raj, using song and dance to communicate. Communication - participatory communication tools and techniques cater to develop and support the needs of other units; trains field workers to transmit messages to grassroots; communication media training programme provides orientation and training in inter- and intra-personal communication. Education - woman and child-centred education; non-formal education centres make learning fun. Collaborative programmes with I voluntary development agencies include Integrated Child Development Scheme and Bihar Education project.
