Programmes

Implements the K-10 Programme in less empowered schools. (K-10 is a unique programme, developed by Schoolnet for interactive learning in Indian classrooms). Its three main programmes are Adopt a School Programme - this enlists the support of corporates, multilateral agencies, foundations, charitable organisations and other institutions to implement the K-10 programme (one-time infrastructure cost and recurring programme costs). Educate a Child programme - invites individuals to adopt a less-privileged student or a group of students and take care of the student(s) programme costs for the duration of the programme or a part thereof through a monthly payment of Rs50 or multiples. Computers for School - accepts contributions in terms of new or refurbished computer hardware and related accessories. 10 per cent of its proceeds go towards other activities in less privileged schools.
