Summary
The mission of AYBI is to motivate people to be active citizens working towards a clean, accountable society by taking positive concerted action. Abstract
The mission of the project is to enable NGO’s across the country to network with one another and increase their overall effectiveness, as an essential sector of civil society. It aims to achieve this through developing NGO management course in collaboration with S.P. Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai and/or IIM, Ahmedabad. AYBI will conduct two workshops both being training on the functional aspects. It also includes developing a database system that can store data and can act like an exchange or information warehouse about NGOs across the country.

The main aim of the project is to provide an effective long-term solution for waste in the city of Mumbai. A body consisting of the business sector, the municipality, and the AYBI has been formed to work in a countrywide plan of action for implementing a solution to this problem.

Local area Initiators/Urban Issues
The project involves strengthening and optimising the effectiveness of the Local Government by initiating a more active and responsive citizenry through areas we live in. the plan is to develop activities, mobilise citizens to participate more actively in the running of the local government, voice their opinions and needs, and influence decision making.

Role Model Lecture Series
It aims to encourage analytical thought, provide intellectual stimulation, and increase the awareness on National and International socio-political-economic issues, among students/ young people. It also provides a forum for interaction amongst students and the non-faculty experts/role models.

Young Liberals Movement
Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka
The project aims to build a strong movement of young liberals in the country through liberal camps, young liberals convention and initiating young groups in Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bangalore. The camps will initiate young people from these cities to the concepts and perspective of Liberalism. While the National Youth Meet will attempt to forge a strong bond between these groups as well as create awareness on issues relevant and important to young people and the country.
