Navratri 2006  Noise Levels

Decibel levels and time limits were maintained in most places during Navratri this year in Mumbai. Time limits were relaxed upto midnight on the last 2 days of the festival (30th September and 1^st October) and also for the Devi immersions on 2^nd October. During immersion processions, decibel levels were not controlled and firecrackers including atom bombs were commonly used.
