FOUR 12-YEAR-OLDS, children of construction labourers, will fly to Hong Kong on Thursday. Their puppet show on how urbanisation impacts mangroves has won them the trip.
Sapna Gaire, Piraji Telange, Swati Nagtilak and Akshay Kadam - of Mumbai Mobile Crèches - are finalists of the Wetland Link International Asia inter-school competition on conservation.
"We provided them a platform through our environment education programme," said Debi Goenka of Conservation Action Trust, which teamed up with Mumbai Mobile Crèches for the competition.
