Dr. Josephine Grace Memorial Foundation is an NGO that has recenttly been registered.  We are located in Jamkhed, Ahmednagar District.  We are based 10 hours away from Mumbai and 5 hours from Pune.  We have been functional since December 2007.

Currently we have a started a Women's Legal Guidance and Counseling Centre.  This is an absolute necessity as there is no provision for women in this area.  Ours is the first Women NGO to take up this initiative.  We have taken up this work in collaboration with the local government authorities and police force.  We also have a team of lawyers who willingly and for a meager fee offer advise and solving of cases.  But in order for these women to know that we have this facility we need to put up signboards in selective locations in Jamkhed Taluka and we also need a computer with a printer  and internet facility to operate this work and a phone as a Helpline.
