Bank of Baroda Donates Rs.10 lakh for a Mobile Mammography
Bank of Baroda has donated Rs.10 lakhs to "Helping Hand Charitable Trust, Mumbai" for a Mobile Mammography Screening Van. This van works as a "One Stop Breast Clinic" and helps in early diagnosis of breast cancer. It provides breast cancer screening facilities at door steps in different parts of the city. V.Santhanaraman and S.C.Gupta, Executive Directors of Bank of Baroda handed over the keys of this van on 10th October, 2007 in Mumbai to Geeta Advani of "Helping Hand Charitable Trust, Mumbai", an NGO working for cancer patients. Vandana Khandelwal, Chairperson, Baroda Shakti, an NGO of the wives of the executives of Bank of Baroda was also present on this occasion alongwith members of Baroda Shakti
