Electrical (IIT Bombay) 1967 & Ph.D. (IIT Bombay)1970 and, Associate Professor (Retd.) from Dept. of Electrical Engg., (IIT Bombay)] is included with his detailed biography and a photograph on Page No. 247 of The Cambridge Blue Book (Edition 2005/06). This book is a Reference Publication of The International Biographical Center, Great Britain and includes leading personalities of particular countries or professions. Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar Vice-Chancellor Dr. S.K.Salwan (Ph.D., Mechanical, 1981) has got three years extension in his term which had expired on February 28, 2007. He was founder-member of the integrated guided missile programme of defence research ... he was Director of the Armament Research and Development Establishment, Pune. Institute Related An appeal from 'E-Cell' of IIT Bombay read CHEMTECH-CEW 'Outstanding Contribution' Award for Prof. Ashok Misra (Director, IIT Bombay) read Prof. Pradeep Mathur, Department of Chemistry, has been awarded the J. C. Bose National Fellowship administered by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The fellowship is meant to recognize active scientists and engineers for their outstanding performance and contributions.
