The National Animal Welfare Fortnight! 

     Between the 15th and 31st of January, the country celebrated the National Animal Welfare Fortnight. Here at the Blue Cross of Hyderabad we used the opportunity to highlight activities within the community to support animals. Simple things like vaccination against Rabies can ensure Rabies free zones and make the city safer for both people and animals.  Killing the local dogs however actually increases the chance of Rabies as new dogs enter carrying the disease.
