Death of Dadar

I stay at Dadar Parsi Colony - here, old buildings are coming down by the dozen to make way for the new.  Everywhere that an old structure comes down, the trees are cleared along with it - do the people concerned have the permission to do so?  One has only to see the difference between the old compounds and the new in order to realize this - eg. two structures have recently been demolished (one on Ghanti Rd, one on Vimadalal Rd) - both cleared plots have suddenly become totally devoid of any foliage, the originals had grand old trees - numerous other examples on these two roads already exist.

Dadar is dying.
