Located in Goa at sea level. 593Km from Mumbai.

About:
At the end of the road from Mumbai to Goa lies this beautiful city which was ruled by many kings. It is a travel hub of Goa. Old villas and church spires peek out to gain attention of the visitors. The town is laid out in typical grid pattern, centered on a Church square. It is a charming city on the left bank of the silvery Mandovi River. It has beautiful, red roofed houses with stucco walls built in Latin style, well laid gardens, statues and avenues lined with trees.

There is always something to discover around Panjim. Every beach, every village is a weekend destination. Come and enjoy the colors of this eternal land. For party animals, the best time to visit is Christmas-New Year else monsoon is a pleasant time to visit Panaji.

Heady elixir of the sun, sand and surf on Baga Beach.

By Air:
Dabolim Airport is 29km from Panjim

By Rail:
Nearest Railheads: Thivim and Karmali. The best would be to take Konkan Kanya Express from Mumbai.

By Road:
Plenty of luxury and sleepers leave Mumbai for Goa in the late afternoon, reaching Panjim early next morning.
