Aseema Charitable Trust is an NGO with a mandate to protect and promote the rights of underprivileged children. Since 1997, Aseema has been providing quality education to underprivileged children. Currently we work in the suburbs of Bandra and Santacruz. We believe education is the right of every child and we see it as a means of empowerment. Aseema is seeking a trained, innovative, committed and dynamic person to join its team as a Functional Literacy Teacher. The job of this teacher would entail teaching basic language, mathematics and lifeskills to adolescents who do not wish to continue their formal education. The candidate must have excellent language skills, substantial experience in working with children and must be creative and enthusiastic. Pay based on skills, experience and the ability to work as part of a progressive team.
