Proposed deletion of a crucial section from Prevention of Corruption Act

Shocking news
Today' s TOI reports on the above subject. The move is reportedly initiated by a group of ministersheaded by the Home Minister.

First it was interested babus who wanted to dilute the impact  of RTI by keeping out of its purview  the file notings. Now it is the group of ministers who  want the deletion of a crucial section to make its sting much less deadly  for public servants which term carry in its sweep  M.Ps and MLAs as well.  God knows where India i.e Bharat is heading for?
RTI was an attempt towards  prevention of corruption , delays and good governance. Against its dilution as stated above, the direct interest shown by Soniaji had seen that the amendment of a relevant section was deferred from discussion in the past session of parliament. It is hoped that she would once again see to it that the contemplated deletion of the crucial section  is prevented.

It is surprising also how  ministers are coming up with  such ideas knowing that  the team is headed by a 24 carrot pure and  clean Prime Minister.

Let the Madam and the P.M intervene appropriately and promptly  to nip the evel design in the bud.
