THUMPS DOWN PERFORMANCE OF UPA & BETRAYAL OF               ‘AAM ADMI’

It is very dismayal performance of UPA in their ‘office of profit’ for last 2 years. After 2 years of ‘over’ performance, people are tired to get out of the govt. despite the UPA’s tall claim.  The UPA coliation and Congress led state govts. completely failed the expectation of ‘aam admi’. The dual face of the congress is exposed when they came back to power.  When Congress party was out of power they came with the slogan of “garabi hatao, Desh ko bachao”.  Now they are doing opposite “garib ko hatao, Builder ko bacha vo”. People are fed up with price rice, police atrocities against innocent people, govt. machinery targeting people to extort money by one way or the other and corruption have increased at all level, black marketing and artificial shortage is created frequently.  Corporates, builders  and govt. through strong arm tactics taking away the farmers and poors land in the name of SEZ., when many tower is coming up without improving the basic infrastructure, people are burdened with various taxes.  The Congress party led by UPA creating their own graveyard through wrong priorities and policies adopted.  The UPA under Sonia & Manmohan Singh  have no ‘independent foreign policy’ and there is a major tilt towards US.  US interference in the UPA is much more than ever.  The quota and reservation policy is the major death blow for the Congress and it is inescapable.  Petroleum and essential commodities prices increased many fold under UPA regime. Smaller UPA allies is bullying for meeting their unreasonable demand and unworthy issues. In Delhi the small traders, and other majority of people badly affected through ‘sealing’ hungama and all the political parties failed to take up the issues just because to kill the small retail sector and reach the benefit of big  politician and corporate interest. 

As a whole, the  UPA lacks direction, lost its vision and failed its mission.  Aam admi is quite unhappy with the performance of the centre and state govt. Representation of youth in ministry is very less in number.  The UPA alliance performance is disappointed especially in Health, Agriculture, Fertilizers and Chemicals.  Cost of health sector and medicine prices reached at an alarming stage, despite many promises.  Lack of representation of youth in vital ministries.  Congress party Leadership’s distrust against the youth is visible.  Filled with loyalist despite having a pool of talent in second generation leaders and younger leadership. 

2 years in office, it is going an NDA way.  Despite bull run stock market and higher GDP, it has nothing to do with the real life of general citizen and they are put into further slavory. 

UPA need to review its policies and programmes in the days to come.  The NDA led opposition also completely failed to raise public issues and act as a main opposition.  Always NDA’s preference is non-issue.  Despite major defeat, the party could not adjust with the reality and BJP as a opposition party now got napping.  Now the people started out of box thinking like  ‘regime change’ just to prevent unbearable  corruption and corrupt activities at all govt. and corporate level. Where is the ‘good governance’ ?

Congress party main manifesto was ‘Reform with human face’.  Now they are doing ‘reform with bull face’ by not  taking into confidence of large section of the society. Just media gimmicks through survey and mobilizing favourable opinion not going to help the nagging UPA and respective state govt. It need action on the ground in the interest of cross section of people. The time has come for the creation is third force in the political arena.  Who will initiate that is still a question mark to counter anti-poor, anti middle class UPA and nagging NDA? Can the UPA get back the confidence of ‘aam admi’ ?!
