Sub.; Proposal for “Ashraanth Project” under Vidya Vardhini Foundation Trust, Mumbai We are presenting a Proposal seeking your support for our maiden project under the revamped Vidya Vardhini Foundation Trust. The Trust hopes to increase the sphere of its activities after successful implementation of the first project focusing on rehabilitation of children and young adults with disabilities. The Trust would initially focus on supporting a small group of 75 persons with disability or children whose parents have a disability. These persons with disability till recent times were beneficiaries of support from Technology And Social Health (TASH ) Foundation, A NGO based in Chembur ( http:// tashfoundation.org) but due to certain financial irregularities the Project funding has been stopped from the donor organization. Due to this sudden stoppage of funding, the beneficiates under the Project have been directly affected and parents have been facing immense difficulties in meeting the travel, school needs and medical expenses of their wards. We have attached a list of students who would be covered under the Project and they are known to me personally for the past six years. We assure you Sir, that the amount contributed will be effectively used for the benefit of this marginalized group. Persons contributing are free to visit the beneficiaries for a personal evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of amounts contributed by them. Looking forward to your positive intervention in the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
