Rewarding the hard work of the achievers among them is essential for sustaining their pursuits. Recognizing the efforts of their mothers the trafficked and prostituted victim women of the red light areas in ensuring education and overall development of their children is essential for strengthening child rights and child protection besides helping these women regain multidimensional personality and dignified self image. The annual Balak Utsav of Prerana aims at accomplishing all of these objectives. It is not possible without the contributions from the civil society This is an appeal to you to contribute and facilitate sponsorships from other sources. 1. Snacks for 1000 participating children @ 10 each = 10000/- 2. 30 Utility prizes for 30 children & youth achievers (10th, 12th std, & vocational courses passed) @ Rs. 600/- each = 18000/- 3. 15 Utility prizes for 15 Best Mothers @ 600/- each = 9000/- 4.
