Sub : An appeal

Respected Sir,

I regret to inform you that my father – in – law, Sri. Ram Chandra Pal has been detected for Cancer in the lungs. The test report to substantiate the malignancy is enclosed.

Recently, he was admitted to Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital (Chittaranjan Hospital) for acute uneasiness and distress accompanied by pain wherein the attending doctor had advised for examination towards malignancy / cancerous. The test was carried out and it has been found to be malignant.

The doctor at Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital (Chittaranjan Hospital) has advised for immediate chemotherapy at least 6 times to avoid any further damage. We are absolutely dumb founded with shock. As per the doctor, the total cost of treatment will sum up to more than Rs.1, 25,000 approx of which Rs.25, 000 is payable immediately for chemotherapy.

Respected Sir, my father in law has no source to meet up the expenses for the treatment. My wife and myself are his only support. For me to pay the amount is next to impossible due to my financial condition. I am working but my earnings do not allow any sort of savings, whatsoever. I am trying to run the daily medicine expenses by taking small loans from colleagues and close relatives. But I have no means to arrange for such a huge amount for the chemotherapy.

Respected Sir, taking into consideration the above condition, I have no option but to fall back on your kind office. I humbly request help from your good office for arranging admission to any Cancer hospital wherever convenient to carry out the treatment for my father in law free of cost or alternatively arrangement of some financial aid to carry out the expensive treatment.

Respected Sir, I hope I have been able to site the condition and will be ever grateful to you and your office for your kind favour.
