Feb 17: Mumbai : Design & Architecture for Physically Handicapped
We would like to hereby bring to your kind attention that FPH (The Fellowship of the Physically Handicapped) has been celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, apparently organising an array of events, which also includes a Seminar in the month of February 2007, which is targeted towards removal of the existing barriers – architectural as well as attitudinal while looking at providing tangible and concrete solutions for the same. This Seminar comprises the modules of issues to be projected and those are:
 Design & Architecture  Employment and career (or Job Orientation)  Legal Redressal  Policy implementation and Authorities.
These fora are to address the issues pertaining to the abovementioned subjects that very much concern the lives of physically challenged to being included in the mainstream of life and profession. The subjects will be raised to generate, enlighten and evoke concerns of every individual in the sphere of intense and fierce competition. These pertain to day-to-day combat of every physically challenged that tend to be ordeals in their lives. The seminar’s objective is to empathise and lead to solutions to the most sinuous issues.
We hereby take the privilege of inviting you to be a part of the Design and Architecture module of the seminar that’s going to take place at The Garware Hall, The Fellowship of Physically Handicpped on the 17th of Feb 07, Saturday from 9.30 am onwards.
