Jan 20: Mumbai : Exhibition on Solid Waste Management Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA) is an initiative that was started to spread civic and environmental consciousness amongst school children, through civic clubs. CMCA’s Second Annual Exhibition in Mumbai, “Utsav”, has been planned for Saturday, 20 January, 2007, at Balkan - Ji - Bari, Juhu Road, Santacruz (W), next to the Juhu Aeroplane Park, from 10 am to 3 pm. In keeping with our focal area for this year, the theme for the day will be Solid Waste Management – its importance, the need for segregation, etc. We would like to invite you to view the exhibition. The exhibition will be put up by students of different schools, where they will display models, charts, posters, skits, that will help spread the message of better practices regarding Solid Waste. Prizes will be awarded, including, for the best stall, best model, etc. In addition to the stalls put up by the children, there will also be on-the-spot games and events, in order to make it a fun day for the students.
