Jan 17 - 21: Mumbai : Trauma Training
Dear all,
A workshop on Trauma Resolution Training based on Somatic Experiencing is being conducted for psychologists, doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, teachers, social workers, and healers in Bombay by Suraag Lambrou of Quantaworld.
The objectives of the four-day Trauma Resolution Training are: 1) Understand the physiological basis of trauma.
2) Learn about containment, resourcing and empowerment.
3) Study tracking skills, titration and establishing continuity through the felt sense.
4) Practice establishing defensive orienting responses, completion and discharge.
5) Be able to identify, normalize and stabilize traumatic reactions.
6) Attain skills to avoid pitfalls of retraumatization.
7) Investigate the transformative qualities of trauma.
8) Acquire short-term solutions to acute and chronic symptoms.
