Invitation to participate in the Harvest to Harness Design Competition 2006

Conserving water by harvesting rainwater or recycling waste water, has become a prerequisite for buildings in our resource-depleting world. As a professional, citizen, simply an environmentally concerned person, or a socially-responsible corporate, you may have implemented rainwater harvesting system in your building, home, or village. We invite you to document this system by participating in the Harvest to Harness Rainwater Harvesting competition organized by the Rachana Sansad’s Institute of Environmental Architecture in collaboration with The Lotus Suites, an Ecotel Hotel, and Eureka Forbes Institute of Environment. The entries of the competition can be sent until 31 October 2006.

All the entries of the competition are compiled in a book which is made available to the lay person, one of the primary objectives of this competition. Exciting prizes sponsored by the Lotus Suites and the Eureka Forbes Institute of Environmnt are given to the winning entries in addition to merit certificates.

We request you to disseminate this information to your friends, colleagues and fellow citizens.  Join us in this movement to conserve our most precious resource – water!
