Training on Women and Personal Law Date: 18 November 2006 Dear Friends, Greetings from India Centre!!! India Centre for Human Rights and Law is organizing a one day training on Women and Personal Law on 9 December 2006 at India Centre for Human Rights and Law, 4th Floor CVOD Jain School, 84 Samuel Street, Dongri, Mumbai 400009. The training aims to impart practical information to activists and community workers working at the grassroot level with the local masses on rights of women. The programme is designed to train the participants on the various provisions under Personal Law such as Marriage, Divorce, Child Custody and Property Rights that is enacted in India with special reference to the rights provided under these laws to women. We request you to nominate staff member of your organization to participate in this training programme. The application form is attached herewith.
