RUN FOR A LIFE-
An Initiative for Cancer patients
Rotaract Club of Bombay west is back with `RUN FOR A LIFE- AN INITIATIVE FOR CANCER PATIENTS'.
This is our sincere effort to do what ever possible to help patients suffering from cancer.
What is `Run for A Life'?
Run for A life is a 4.5 km mini marathon to be held in Juhu.
The money collected through the run will go towards treatment for poor patients suffering from cancer.
Aim of Run for a Life is to collect funds for treatment of patients as well as create awareness about the causes of Cancer.
When and Where?
Date: 29th October 2006
Time: 8 am
Venue: Juhu Tara Road, Juhu
Why should you run?
Support the patients- Its bad enough to be suffering from the dreadful disease and its worse still if you can't afford treatment. All the money collected through registrations will go for treatment of poor patients who can't afford treatment.
Its fun to Run- Join celebrities and hundreds of others- young and old and complete the 4.5 km stretch. See how fast you can do it and what's your standing amongst some of the best runners in the suburbs. Participants will be given a goody bag and a T-Shirt.
Awareness about cancer- Come learn more about how you can prevent yourself from falling prey to this dreadful disease. Cancer is the second largest killer in the world and a large percent of the cases are preventable.
Great Prizes- The winners will get some amazing prizes ( Gym memberships, gift vouchers, movie tickets, gift hampers etc ) and for all the slower ones there is also a lot to win. Just be there and you'll see.
