The Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy is pleased to announce:

Two Days’ Intensive and Interactive Workshop On

Enhancing Effectiveness of Information Technology for NGOs

Workshop Content

Back to Basics - starts at level 0 and quickly moves to level 4 within an hour. Includes hardware, software, evolution, data management, data backup, computer maintenance and standard windows functions. Also covers a white board diagram with commentary on the internet - how it works? Along with a few simple shots on ‘general soft skills’

Need Based Computing - refers to the needs of NGOs and revolves round hardware / software requirements and "11 major functions" (purpose) of an NGO with LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS wherever possible. The emphasis being on ‘everything legal’ (not pirated!)

Making presentations covers more about creativity, innovation and clarity in graphical representations instead of tech-training per se. Almost every ‘Tool’ has been included in order to "present the mission / vision of an NGO" in the most effective ways.

‘Freeware’ (not usually used) will be demonstrated and also given away on Compact Disc / DVD along with lots of royalty free material

Fund Raising While U Sleep takes the NGO through a virtual office which raises money 24x7x365. The entire system is shown in depth. A new section has been added for the benefit of participants.

Case Studies" which speaks about successful projects in ICT4D and the benefits of IT in the true sense of the word.
