August 23 - 26: Agra: 19 South Asian International Fundraising Workshop
19 SAFRW (South Asian International Fund Raising Workshop) has been scheduled for the 23-26 of August, 2008 at the Jaypee Palace Hotel in Agra.
19 SAFRW proposes to be one of the largest and finest fundraising workshops in all of South Asia. We have put together a finely tuned programme and are bringing the best of speakers both from within India and abroad. This makes a good recipe to ensure that it is a valuable and important experience for our delegates. Since this event comes only once a year and a lot of effort goes in making it happen, we at SAFRG want as many as possible to take full advantage of the same. Below given is information along with the registration form. I am also enclosing the complete list of topics and speakers so that you get a better idea. warm regards, Pallavi Kumar Chief Executive Officer South Asian Fund Raising Group (SAFRG) D-7/7346, Vasant Kunj New Delhi -110070 Ph: 91 11 26132024 Fax: 91 11 26132086 http://www.safrg.org/ More Details:- AN OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED
19 South Asian International Fundraising Workshop (19 SAFRW) 23 to 26 August 08, Agra "Building Relationships for Sustainability"
19 South Asian International Fundraising Workshop will be held at Jaypee Palace, Hotel & Convention Center, Agra ,from 23 to 26 August 08. Leaders and fundraisers from over 300 non-profit organisations from all over South Asia will attend and learn how to increase support for the causes they represent. The theme "Building Relationships for Sustainability" is most timely and appropriate. Over the last decade, civil society has grown fast and increasing very fast too is the enormous potential of support possible. But many NGOs lack skills and professional training in how to garner this support. Resources can be accessed through a strategy, a simple plan and trained staff. Therein lies the importance of this workshop. SAFRG believes that only systematic planning and application can bring in adequate funds, for all-round development and ultimately success of NGOs. With an established regional reputation SAFRW is uniquely the key forum for both training and development of local resource mobilization.
19 SAFRW is an opportunity not to be missed .
