        Greetings from MECS.

        I hope that you are getting our knowledge series papers regularly by E-mail.  I hope that you are following our works with CNRI, TAFVA, other Networks and a few NGOs.

        Based on the request from a few NGO friends, we are pleased to organize Half a day work shop on 07-06-2008 at 09:00 AM at Mother Earth Consultancy Serwices, Patrika Nagar, Behind My Home Apartments, Near Madhapur of Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad.

        The details about the workshop are enclosed.  You are requested to kindly participate in the workshop at 09:00 AM sharp, and get enriched in knowledge and skills regarding organizational development and Microfinance.  A brief presentation on ANARDE activities will be done by Mr. Ramachandran.

        Further, the main purpose is to identify the areas of support of MECS to individual NGOs in Planning, Capacity Building, Project Formulation, IT enabled services, Monitoring and Evaluation and Funding.

        In each session interaction will be done with participants to identify individual and collective requirements of organizations in various areas of Organizational Development and funding.

        The requirements for Capacity Building for Microfinance, loaning requirements under microfinance will also be identified.

        As indicated already the Microfinance bank of MECS will be in operation form third quarter of 2008-09.

        The other important areas viz Govt.-NGO collaboration, requirements of funding in Environment, AIDS control and other sectors will also be identified and guidance for tapping of funds will be provided.

        The workshop will commence at 09:00 AM sharp and will conclude by 1:30PM.  The post lunch session is discussion with individual organization by Dr. Sundar Vadaon, and other experts from the team of MECS.  You are free by about 04:00PM and may please make your travel plans accordingly.

ABOUT MECS, PATRIKA NAGAR Near Madhapur, Hi-Tech City, HYDERABAD.

Mother Earth Consultancy Serwices is located in Temple of services, Building at Road No.2, Patrikanagar, Behind My Home Apartments, Hi-Tech City, Madhapur  It has got three approach roads.

1.   From Madhapur Centre Cross Road enter Image Hospitals Road, Take right at Vithalrao Nagar Board and Enter a developing colony Patrika Nagar.

2.   A little ahead on the main road of Hi-Tech City after Image Hospitals lane take left in to HUDA Colony turn Right  Vinay prangan and enter Patrikanagar.

MECS has a 40 capacity “Capacity Building Training Centre” in the ground floor, 30 capacity Conference Hall in the 1^st floor, 40 capacity Microfinance Bank in 3^rd Floor and 40 capacity Consultancy services office in the 4^th floor.  Chairman and Managing Director’s Office and Board room in the 5^th Floor.  It’s a self contained unit for services and Capacity Building for NGOs.

OTHER DETAILS:

        Since, this workshop is organized with MECS resources only and not of any funding agency no travel and stay support is being provided.  NGOs are requested to kindly participate on their own.   Since the workshop is in mutual interest no Registration Fee is charged.   However high end  quality inputs are being given.  For those NGOs who may like to stay at Madhapur and near by areas with in walkable distance from the venue (MECS) the following are the details:

HOSPITALITY:

        Coffee, Tea and working lunch for the workshop is being provided by MECS.

        No stay facility for the participants at the Venue.
