Date: Sub.: Request to be a sponsor for the photo and craft exhibition at Mumbai & Thane. Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings from Lok Biradari Prakalp! We have a project, Lok Biradari Prakalp at the remote The main focus of the work is betterment of the local primitive tribe, Madia and Gonds. Free health care facilities, started in 1974, now catering 45,000 patients every year, approximately 300 surgeries are done every year. The Residential school (Ashram Shala) for tribal children which started in 1976 with 25 students is now having 1st to 12th standard classes and catering 600 students this year. Animal ark is having around 60 orphan wild animals like Leopards, Bears, Jackals, Monkeys, Deer, Crocodiles etc. Also running vocational training centre for the tribal children. We are planning to organize photo and bamboo articles exhibition of the project at RAVINDRA NATYA MANDIR, ART GALLERY, PRABHADEVI Mumbai City from 1st to 5th May and at Krushnai Hall, 280/3, 2nd Pokhran Road, Opp. Devidayal Co., Majiwada, Thane(W) from 8th to 11th May 2008 which will help in reaching to people at Mumbai and giver little more idea about the work. The same exhibition has already been taken place in Pune during But organizing such exhibition is not an easy task, it needs lot of man power as well as financial support as lot of material is to be carried safely from such a long distance, volunteers need to come leaving their work at Hemalkasa, information about the exhibition needs to convey to the people of the city etc. In Pune because of the generous financial support of Bank of Maharashtra we could deal with all the required expenses. But for Mumbai exhibition we need the sponsors. We would be grateful if you could donate Rs. 1,00,000/- and be one of the sponsors of this exhibition at Mumbai. (The donations are exempted under 80G of income tax act). Your interest in understand the importance of reaching such work to maximum people in big cities and becoming a sponsor will make our task of reaching to Mumbai people a bit easy.
